If you slice the hishi pattern in half, it's no longer made up of "hishi", so you have to call it "kagome", a reference to the pattern made when weaving baskets. However, the more widely recognized kagome pattern has larger gaps within the weaving. It's all very complicated.
I originally planned to major in underwater basket weaving but the curriculum was a bit daunting so I switched over to business.
Base shirt is the Bella+Canvas 3001, which is wonderfully soft, light and very comfortable with just the right amount of stretch.
